For the past decade Emily has been working alongside individuals from varying backgrounds to pursue life as it was meant to be. She has been driven by a passion to see the underserved better resourced and build resilience in young people and families. With Emily, clients experience a space of authenticity, vulnerability, and encouragement as she utilizes strength-based approaches to empower clients to grow and heal. She believes it is important to know where you come from to be able to pursue who you want to become.
Her favorite modalities include solution-focused therapy, family systems therapy, narrative therapy, and trauma-informed care. She loves to cultivate a calming and understanding space for clients to feel heard and be reminded that they are not alone.
Personally, Emily is married and has three children. When she isn’t chasing her kids around, she enjoys running, being active, and adventuring outside.
