ABOUT

WELCOME!
I’ve always wanted to be a therapist and don’t consider this a “job” but instead a calling. Life is full of all sorts of struggles. I enjoy walking alongside my clients in their unique challenges, helping them uncover the “gift” within their struggles and build compassion for themselves. It is a privilege and passion of mine to help my clients move forward stronger and more integrated because of our work together.

WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN WORKING WITH ME:  Equipping / Encouragement / Empowerment
I have enjoyed working with women, men, mothers, and athletes for over 10 years. It is rewarding for me to walk alongside my clients in all their seasons of life. I know that transitions can be challenging, and I enjoy offering all my clients a judgment-free place to slow down and gather their thoughts and feelings. I especially enjoy helping women in their journey from pregnancy to parenthood as well as young adults on their journey to and through the college transition.

AREAS OF SPECIALTY:
My specialties are women, teens, student athletes, OCD, post-partum depression, anxiety, trauma, complicated grief, low self-esteem, navigating transitions, college readiness, relationship issues, and goal setting.

PERSONALLY:
I am married and a joyful mother to four children! I have a great love for my family. I have also been a lifelong competitive athlete. In my free time, I enjoy extending hospitality, gathering with my people, and travel.

“Katie March is a seasoned counselor that never tires of learning and continues to push herself to expand her clinical work and knowledge.  She is one of the supervisors at our practice and fills a vital leadership role as the Supervision Coordinator for our Clinician Development Program, where she mentors and guides new clinicians. Katie has extra training in DART (Developmental and Relational Trauma), ACT (Acceptance & Commitment Therapy), OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder), and working with special populations: Athletes, College Students, and New Mothers. The part of humanity that I see expressed in Katie is her enthusiasm—she gets downright excited and energetic about helping others, whether it is clients, colleagues, family, or in the community at large, where she generously volunteers her time.” – AudrieAna Gardner, L2t Founder & Executive Director
