ABOUT

WELCOME!
I find it a privilege to walk alongside individuals, couples, and families as they navigate growth, healing, and meaningful change. I am grateful for the opportunity to support people in discovering new insights, strengths, and connections. I find this work deeply meaningful and rewarding. Thank you for considering the opportunity to partner together on this journey.

WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN WORKING WITH ME: Curiosity / Challenge / Authenticity / Understanding
Using evidence-based approaches like Emotional Focused Therapy, Gottman Method Couples Therapy, and Internal Family Systems, I work collaboratively with you, you and your partner, or your family to identify core issues, improve communication, and build a stronger and fulfilling relationship in a safe, nonjudgmental space where everyone feels heard, respected, and supported.

With more than 20 years of experience as an educator and lifelong learner, I bring both professional insight and genuine curiosity to the work I do with clients. Those who know me best describe me as warm, outgoing, adventurous, and someone who values humor and authenticity in everyday life. In addition to my work in education, I have spent 10 years serving as a Children’s Pastor and high school Chaplain, experiences that have deeply shaped my understanding of people, relationships, and personal growth.

I am passionate about helping people navigate and make sense of their stories. I often say, “We are all living within a story, and sometimes the page we are on feels incredibly difficult. In those moments, it can help to remember that it is only one page, not the whole story.” I am drawn to helping clients better understand their experiences, discover meaning, and move towards healing and growth.

I desire to partner with clients in a supportive, safe, and compassionate way, while honoring the interconnected nature of psychological, emotional, and spiritual health.

AREAS OF SPECIALTY: Couples / Families / Individuals / Adolescents
I enjoy working with adolescents, couples, and families and strive to create a warm, down-to-earth environment where clients feel safe, supported, and understood. Whether we are navigating relationship challenges, parenting stress, anxiety, or life transitions, I help foster clarity, deeper connection, and meaningful, lasting change. In my work with families, I value the opportunity to help create healthier patterns and stronger relationships that can positively impact generations to come.

In working with couples, I believe that growth and healing are possible at every stage of a relationship. Together, we can work towards greater understanding, trust, and connection while developing healthier ways to communicate and relate to one another. Whether you feel stuck in recurring conflict or simply want to strengthen your relationship, I would be honored to connect with you and explore whether we might be a good fit to navigate that journey together.

PERSONALLY:
I am married (my wife is a therapist, too!) and a father to a young adult son. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, backpacking, fly-fishing, kayaking, and adventure photography. I love watching movies, and I am a lifelong fan of all Oklahoma sports. “Boomer Sooner!”

“Kevin brings decades of work with students and families to the therapy room.  He is training in EFT (Emotion Focused Therapy) which equips him to work with couples and families as well as individuals who are seeking to understand and heal themselves within the context of relationships. Kevin is an excellent collaborator in cases where there are multiple therapists working with a family (our practice specialty). Kevin takes extra time to encourage his colleagues and be present and supportive. The humanity that I see expressed in Kevin is his genuine interest in people, a hunger to learn, and the affable ability to laugh at himself and at life.” – AudrieAna Gardner, L2t Founder & Executive Director
